Curtis Davis, Esq., is an accomplished attorney and the founder of Davis Trial Law, a boutique firm specializing in personal injury, wrongful death, and premises liability cases. With a strong academic background and a wealth of experience, Curtis has established himself as a formidable advocate for his clients in Palm Beach and beyond.

Curtis grew up wanting to become a lawyer, an unusual dream for a kid who grew up in rural Ohio on a Christmas tree farm and never knew a lawyer until arriving at college. Curtis learned grit and hard work from his father, a dedicated and proud union employee of Ford Motor Company for nearly forty years, and his mother, a veteran public school teacher.

His legal journey began at the University of Florida. There, Curtis earned a Bachelor of Science while studying Economics at UF’s Warrington College of Business, with minors in History and Leadership.

After completing his undergraduate degree, Curtis moved to South Florida to attend Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University. During his time at Nova, Curtis’s passion for oral advocacy and trial work led him to serve on the executive board for Moot Court, an esteemed honors group specializing in oral advocacy. His exceptional skills and dedication to the craft earned him membership in the prestigious Order of Barristers, an exclusive honors society recognizing excellence in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing.

Upon graduating from law school, Curtis embarked on his legal career as a defense attorney, representing insurance companies and their insureds in cases involving catastrophic multi-car accidents, wrongful deaths, product liability, and negligent security. This experience provided Curtis with invaluable insights into the strategies employed by insurance companies, equipping him with a unique advantage when advocating for his clients. 

Most significantly, Curtis has actual trial experience, which is increasingly rare for a civil litigator.

In June 2022, Curtis realized his dream of establishing his law firm and founded Davis Trial Law. His boutique firm focuses on business and insurance disputes, personal injury, wrongful death, and premises liability cases and offers individualized attention and dedicated representation to clients seeking justice. Curtis’s in-depth knowledge of both sides of personal injury cases allows him to effectively navigate complex legal landscapes and passionately fight for his clients’ rights.
